Transforming a product into an emotional story
Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s leading supplier of dialysis products and services, recently added innovative home hemodialysis to its portfolio. The new service enables patients to receive dialysis treatment at home, helping them to maintain their familiar daily routine. To showcase this new growth market, we created a corporate report feature in which a patient and her carer take us through their day – and portray a genuine friendship. The storytelling feature was devised in joint consultation with the patient and the client and was finalized before the production team travelled to the USA for filming. The film premiered in October 2020 at Fresenius Medical Care Capital Markets Day. It demonstrates how a product can be transformed into an emotionally charged story that reaches all stakeholders alike with equal impact, from investors to the broad general public.
