The new Corporate Website for ProSiebenSat.1
Over the past few years, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE has undergone a transformation from a traditional TV company to a broadcasting, digital entertainment and commerce powerhouse. The new corporate website redesigned by hw.d reflects this self-perception and the dynamic innovative strength of the company.
The redesign process included a complete reworking of the content structure and technical foundation. The design concept aimed to inject a sense of this dynamism into the typography and imagery of the multimedia details: large, prominent typographic elements juxtaposed with more delicate icons create an exciting relationship. The imagery unites apparently opposing ideas of “human, authentic” and “stage-managed”. A sharp contrast is created by the use of soft, unicolor image backgrounds together with darker elements.
With an emphasis on large images and video content, the style of the homepage and landing pages for the various areas are a direct reflection of the media corporation. Short reports and interviews with company employees offer a look behind the scenes, exploring different aspects of their daily work.
The redesign has primarily placed an emphasis on user orientation. The website structure is aimed at a wide range of target groups, with the website content offering users the option of gaining both quick overviews and deeper insights. This is supported by a new service toolbar which has been added to all pages across the website. It combines a curated search function with a range of area-specific services and contacts. This search function displays landing page content and navigation elements as search results, meaning that they are updated on a daily basis.
